About
For many years, there's been a surge of interest among motorcycle enthusiasts in transforming classic bikes into sleek, cafe racer-style machines.
As motorcycle enthusiasts with the desire for a fusion of classic style with modern technology, Old Soren presents a unique solution. We've taken inspiration from the iconic frame of the Honda TMX series originating as a line of motorcycles primarily produced for the Asian market, particularly in countries like the Philippines in the 1970s, and we reimagined /modified it for the electric age. Instead of a traditional engine, our moped motorbikes are integrated with a 72v 60ah battery and a handmade unique battery box within the chassis powering the 4,000w brushless hub motor, and the control unit under the tank is the brain of the bike. The handmade battery box is only included with the first 100 bikes called the Founders Series.
At Old Soren, we understand the dedication required to turn a standard motorcycle into a café racer masterpiece. That's why we've meticulously crafted our mopeds to embody the already done-for-you modified cafe racer look right out of the custom wooden crate we built. With custom modifications and meticulous attention to detail, our bikes exude the classic charm and sophistication of a cafe racer — with additional inspiration from the 1970s TMX frame — but in a rider-friendly moped format.
Whether you're a seasoned café racer enthusiast or simply appreciate the allure of vintage aesthetics, Old Soren mopeds offer a truly unique riding experience. Embrace the elegance of a bygone era merged with the efficiency and innovation of electric power, all packaged within the stunning allure of a café racer.
Why the name Old Soren?
Old Soren is more than just a brand name; it's a tribute to my great-great-grandfather, Soren, who courageously led my family from Denmark to America in the late 1800s. His entrepreneurial spirit was evident from the moment he set foot on American soil, embarking on a path of innovation and success.
As I delved into my family history while refining this motorcycle and sourcing top-quality parts, the name Old Soren resonated deeply with me. It felt like a natural choice, honoring the legacy of a man who exemplified resilience, ambition, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
