Refund policy
Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Old Soren Motorcycles, each bike is built, prepared, and documented specifically for its owner. Because of this custom process, our refund policy differs from that of mass-produced vehicles.
All sales made through our store are considered final, except for apparel. We do not offer exchanges, returns, or refunds on any items sold unless approved by the owner.
Deposits, VIN Assignment & Build Completion
Once a customer places a deposit, those finances will be allocated toward production, trucking, and operating costs to keep the brand running.
When a VIN has been created, the motorcycle is officially assigned and prepared for shipment. At this stage, the bike is considered complete and reserved exclusively for the customer.
Because of this, deposits are non-refundable once the VIN has been issued and the bike is ready to ship.
If you are unable to complete payment or take delivery at that time, we are happy to securely hold your motorcycle for up to 60 days from the original readiness date. After this period, additional storage arrangements or fees may apply.
Pre-Orders & Cancellations
For pre-orders that are canceled before a bike is assigned, crated, and ready to ship. A 10% restocking fee will apply. The remaining 90% will be refunded after another customer takes your place for a Founder Series motorcycle. This only applies to bikes before they are VIN-assigned, packed, and ready to ship.
As an independent, owner-operated company without outside investors, these policies allow us to continue delivering high-quality, custom-built motorcycles while operating sustainably.
Inspection & Product Information
We strongly encourage customers to carefully review all available photos, videos, and product information prior to purchase. These materials are provided to help you make an informed decision regarding the size, appearance, and performance of your motorcycle.
Customer Support
If you experience any issues or dissatisfaction, our Technical Support team is available to assist you. We are committed to helping you get started and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
Limited Warranty Policy
Old Soren Motorcycles offers a Limited Warranty on its products under the following terms:
Returns
Due to the size, value, and nature of motorcycles, and because ridden bikes are considered used, we do not accept returns unless the motorcycle arrives in a non-functional state (dead on arrival).
Minor cosmetic imperfections, such as small scratches or paint chips, do not qualify for returns or replacements. In such cases, we may offer a reasonable discount at our discretion.
Defective Parts
For 60 days following delivery, we will replace any part found to be defective due to manufacturing issues.
Power System Warranty
The motor, controller, display, and battery are covered under a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
Warranty Exclusions
The following are not covered under warranty:
-
Normal wear items (bearings, seals, chains, brake components, suspension valving)
-
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper storage
-
Unauthorized modifications or altered wiring
-
Installation of non-genuine parts
-
Racing or competitive use
-
Improper charging, storage, or discharging practices
Any misuse related to battery care or electrical systems will void the warranty.
Warranty Validity
Limited warranties are non-transferable. Proof of purchase from Old Soren Motorcycles is required for all warranty claims.
